Minimally
invasive surgery
If you’re suffering with a common or not-so-common
gynecologic condition, you can count on our team. Each
of our doctors is well-qualified and experienced with
evaluating and treating the health issues that can keep
you from living your life to the fullest.
We always do our best to help you avoid surgery. But
when surgery becomes necessary, you’ll be glad
to know we’re all trained in the latest minimally
invasive techniques for smaller incisions, faster healing,
less pain, lower risks and a much faster recovery.
These advanced options can help you with chronic pelvic
pain, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, uterine fibroids
and more.
Breakthrough techniques
We are the first doctors in Kentucky to perform endometrial
cryoablation – a breakthrough alternative to hysterectomy
for patients who suffer from painful or excessive periods
– with fantastic results:
- For about 96% of women, monthly bleeding decreases
significantly. (Some women report that their periods
stopped completely!)
- An in-office procedure, it takes only a few minutes
and requires no anesthesia.
- It’s so easy, most women return to work within
one to two days.
- The only discomfort is mild cramping for a couple
of hours afterward, easily managed with over-the-counter
pain medication.
Sometimes, though, hysterectomy is the right treatment
option. In that case, you’re still in excellent
hands. Tri-County physicians have in-depth skill and
experience with all types of hysterectomy techniques,
including the latest minimally invasive laparoscopic
methods.
No matter what kind of treatment you need, we’re
here with sensitivity and compassion when you need them
most.
Advanced solutions for bladder control
problems
Urinary incontinence, or leaky bladder, is an extremely
common and embarrassing problem. Fortunately, Tri-County
Ob/Gyn offers advanced treatments that can resolve your
bladder control problems once and for all.
Once
we determine the cause and nature of your problem, we
can help you choose from the treatments available, including
many types of minimally invasive surgery.
Overcoming infertility
Roughly 10% of reproductive-age couples have trouble
conceiving. But getting help is as easy as talking with
your doctor. We can provide testing and initial treatment
to improve your fertility. While we help you get to
the root of the problem, we’ll do all we can to
ease any frustration and anxiety you feel about the
challenges you face. |
